MF-Plug
MF-Plug is a highly absorbent lost circulation material designed to rapidly take up large amounts of water while maintaining controlled volume expansion.
It is primarily used in horizontal directional drilling to reduce fluid losses, control inadvertent returns and improve borehole stability in poorly consolidated formations such as gravel and cobble.
MF-Plug can also help reduce drill rod vibration in boreholes with partial or complete lost returns.

Recommended Treatment

When using MF-Plug in diamond coring:
- Retrieve the inner tube first.
- Remove suction screens and other internal pump screens before treatment.
- Pump or spot the product across the affected loss zone.
